2025 Winterblast's fishy parade-crashers
The first Procession went backwards...or rather "upstream"! At Winterblast 2025, Earthly Procession director Alina Nuebel and a crew of friends, neighbors, and strangers created a super-natural spectacle...Fourteen 5-foot salmon puppets that ran the Winterblast parade against the current. The makers, performers, and audience had so much fun with it, we decided to make our own parade: The Earthly Procession!
Inspired by the success of our Winterblast salmon & the ingenuity of events like Olympia's Procession of the Species, and with the support of the Santa Rosa Urban Arts Partnership, Santa Rosa will host The Earthly Procession on April 25, 2026!
